We are looking to hire a Part-Time Junior IT Assistant
Diaspora is a FinTech start-up, building a challenger bank concept, that is focussed on helping small and medium-size enterprises get access to the liquidity they need so they can power their business.
Established in 2017 and headquartered in London with offices in Cairo and The Hague, Diaspora is disrupting the financial services space through the creation of an end-to-end digital banking ecosystem. Our raison d’etre is to shake up the current financial system so that it supports SMEs in the UK, EU and emerging markets to flourish and to provide support where traditional banking institutions have failed. We are passionate about building great products and we have loads of exciting new ideas in our product roadmap, so we are on the hunt to build out the team to help us make our vision become a reality. We are looking for a Junior IT Support Assistant to start working with us as soon as possible.
This position will be primarily assisting our tech team in ad-hoc duties and would suit someone who is looking for experience in a tech role.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing support in the form of procedural documentation
Testing and evaluating new technologies
Troubleshooting technical issues
Assisting the Chief Technology Officer
What you’ll need:
*You must be in your first or second year studying towards a Compute Science degree or a degree in a related field*
A strong problem-solving attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication
